Welcome to Maximum
We manufacture furniture with industrial production surpluses.
Our goal is simple:
offer high quality furniture,
made in France and entirely “recycled”.
All at an affordable price.
An involuntary production
__
To produce its goods, a factory involuntarily generates a second production: that of its waste.
Scraps, pre-series, failures, wedge parts, margins of error, purges, downgrades, surpluses... In France, the industry rejects a third of its production in the form of scrap.
We're talking about 65,000 tonnes of material every day...
This waste results from a particularly linear economy which never gives materials a second chance. And yet, in such quantities, industrial waste constitutes an abundant, serial, standardized resource, perfectly capable of supplying new production.
An ideal resource
__
The industrial surplus comes from a real manufacturing process. Beyond a strictly "material" approach, specific to recycling, we consider it for its form, and for all the qualities acquired through the stages of its production. He is an object, a semi-product with no future. Reusing it means taking advantage of all the technical equipment deployed for its transformation: machines, human time and know-how constitute the true value of production losses.
Exploiting this value allows us to achieve a real economic feat, offering products made entirely in France, finished by hand, guaranteed for life and at affordable prices.
The serial surplus
__
We travel across France and its industries to identify industrial surplus production.
Their shape and materials are as diverse as the industrial landscape itself. But they have one thing in common: they are all standardized products.
We manufacture our furniture, giving the circular economy an industrial dimension.
We craft solutions by tapping generously into problems.
From design to finish
—
The lifespan of a piece of furniture obviously depends on the quality of its manufacturing, but begins with a rigorous search for ergonomics and elegance. This design stage is essential: from a restrictive resource, it allows objects to be created without compromise.
Losses of French productions
—
The production surpluses with which we work are not simple pieces of raw material. The first guarantee of their quality is that they were produced in French factories, and carry within them all the know-how and demands of our partners.
Finished by our white hands...
—
It is in our workshops in Ivry-sur-Seine that the operations necessary to transform the waste into the object are then carried out. This artisanal dimension gives our furniture the quality and impeccable level of finish that only the hand can give.
